Positions available for PhD-students and PostDocs!

We are looking for highly motivated and curiosity driven PhD students and PostDocs. The positions are available immediately.

Possible positions:

• Mitochondrial Structure and Dynamics: You will investigate the factors that shape and maintain the mitochondrial architecture with a focus on the inner membrane, especially the crista membrane. You will use state of the art super-resolution microscopy methods like MINFLUX and STED nanoscopy in combination with electron microscopy, molecular biology and biochemistry. Projects are embedded in research initiatives such as the DFG funded SFB1190, FOR2848 or the ERC Advanced Grand ‘MitoCRISTAE’, and others.
• Development of novel labelling techniques: You will work on the refinement and development of new single and multi-colour labelling techniques for cutting-edge super-resolution light microscopy methods like MINFLUX and MINSTED.
